4/22 - Getting wet out West

The weather service was calling for a chance of rain today, and when I left the Central Valley it was barely misting and diddn't seem like it would amount to much. By the time I made it out west it was more of a steady sprinkle. I stopped at Christy to fill up on gas and took a few pics over at the main house which I haven't been over to since I've been on island.

The new patio.

From Christy, I continued west into the rain and set up to watch a pair that has been incubating for a few weeks now. The tiercel was policing the cliffs and even flew over to briefly kack at me when I stood up from behind my bush to relieve myself.

Not much action at the eyrie during the 4 hours I stuck around. Both the tiercel and I were getting pretty soggy.
